Program:Master of Chinese Economy (MACE)

<Program description>

The School of Applied Economics offers this university-level two-year program, known as the Master of Chinese Economy (MACE) for overseas undergraduates. This program is dedicated to providing students with analytical training developing the critical thinking skills and acquiring knowledge necessary to become experts at China’s economy and policies. Our graduates will be able to work in China in various areas such as multinational corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, and academic organizations. All courses offered are taught in ENGLISH. Most of our professors have international backgrounds with years of study and research in prestigious universities and academic institutions worldwide; besides, they have impressive list of publications issued globally . Each student can obtain one-to-one guidance from our professors to conduct academic research and .solve practical problems in the field.

<Eligibility>

  1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health.

  2. Applicants must be a bachelor degree holder or above.

The tuition rate is 60,000 RMB (around US $8800) per academic yearexcluding boarding, books and course materials, medical care services, field trip and other personal expenses.

<Core Courses with Credits>

A total of 34 graduate credits are required to complete the program, including a thesis. The program is comprised of 7 credits of required basic courses, 15 credits of required core courses, 10 credits of elective courses, and 2 credits of social practice. The requirements are as follows:

<Scholarships>

Applicants can refer to programs of Chinese Government Scholarships and Renmin University of China Scholarships.

School of Applied Economics sets up scholarships exclusive for international students as well, and the scholarship is up to 60,000 RMB (around US $8800) per academic year depending on the comprehensive evaluation of the candidate.
